You may be sending a glider for the Annual Inspection with no known damage simply to get a check up on safety. You may be sending a glider with known damage. Please tie a visible marker on the damaged areas needing repair, and on any lines needing to be replaced. We require a 1 Hour Rack Inspection for any glider which arrives with no markings on damaged areas needing attention. Having you mark all damaged areas needing repair will reduce your cost. Select the 1 Hour Rack Inspection if you aren’t confident you have marked ALL damaged areas on your glider, or haven’t marked any locations. This will ensure all damaged areas are identified and repaired. We can draw up a quote, and get back to you before we begin work if needed. You can expect return shipping costs to be around the same price you paid to ship you service items to Eagle. Annual inspections increase the paragliders sale value, and allows the seller and buyer to be confident on the wings condition and value at the time of sale. They also give pilots confidence knowing their glider is in top shape. We also offer Laser Trim Tuning to ensure side to side and front to back symmetry of your glider. The rear lines tend to shrink more since the carry less load than the lines at the front of your glider. Laser Trim Tuning lets us optimize your wing and bring it back to its intended line trim. Eagle will contact you with any additional recommended service suggestions to go over your options before we do an extra work. The Eagle shop charges a $35 flat shipping fee to cover the return shipping costs on your paraglider, and a $20 flat shipping fee for reserve parachutes after any service performed. You get the same $35 flat return shipping fee if you send both your paraglider and reserve parachute for service. We are also the instructors instructor, and have the only Administrator on the south coast to certify experienced pilots as both tandem pilots and basic/advanced instructors. You may have heard if you really want to learn how to do something, learn how to teach it well. This definitely applies to paragliding Paragliding. Its been wonderful to see our students go from their first training days, to becoming an experienced pilot, then flying higher and farther than the instructor who certified them! Jesse Meyer trained with Eagle back in 2004, and became an instructor in 2011, and started his own school Lift Paragliding in the bay area. He was awarded the Instructor Of The Year award in 2013. In fact, Jesse has the highest long-term student retention statistics in the country for instructors who have signed off at least 100 Novice ratings(69.6%). This means more of his students are still flying than any other school, likely because Jesse subscribes to a similar view on how important it is to offer continuing education in the mountains, and build community in the sport. Be sure visit Jesse at his school Lift Paragliding if you are in the bay area.
Normal estimated lead time: 2-3 weeks (if we aren’t away racing or leading tours)

The cost is $195 for our Laser Trim Tuning Service. Occasionally we get gliders where no trim adjustments are needed. We will give a $50 refund in this instance. You can expect return shipping costs to be around the same price you paid to ship your service items to Eagle.
You will need to complete theEagle Service Ticket Form before sending items for service. Please read all instructions and questions carefully.
LINE MANUFACTURING SERVICE OPTIONS – Estimated lead time: 2-3 Weeks
We will manufacture, and mail or install lines needing replacement on your wing.We charge standard rates for line replacements. This allows our customers to have a better idea of how much their repair will cost while eliminating the arbitrary and subjective nature of hourly rates.
Self Service (mains and uppers) $28 Per Line – We mail your lines.
Main Line Full Service $50 Per Line – You send us your glider, and we do it all.
Upper Line Full Service $55 Per Line – You send us your glider, and we do it all.
Self ServiceOrders apply to both Main and Upper Lines. We mail your lines when you opt to install the lines at home. The customer provides the line lengths(under a 5KG load) in Millimeters, identifies the specific line materials, shares the desired line color(no guarantees we can match colors), ALL on your Eagle Service Ticket Form. Prepayment is required for self service orders. Please note that we charge $15 for shipping of lines with free shipping for orders over $100.
Full Service Orders are priced base on the consideration that installing upper lines take more time. Eagle researches the line lengths, and the specific line materials. We manufacture the lines, unbuild the line cascades, removed the damaged lines, and rebuild the line cascades with the new lines. You ship us your glider.
A 1 Hour Rack Inspection should be ordered for any glider which is sent to Eagle with no markings on damaged Lines needing attention. Having you mark all damaged Lines needing repair will reduce your cost. We can skip the rack inspection if you thoroughly mark all your damaged lines. Select the 1 Hour Rack Inspection if you aren’t confident you have marked ALL damaged Lines on your glider, or haven’t marked any locations. This will ensure all damaged Lines are identified and repaired.
Our brake line sets are cut long to fit any size glider. There is a sewn loop at one end which you girth hitch to your brake cascade. The other end of the line is run through the pulley on your rear risers, and tied to your brake handle. We suggest keeping your old brake line on the glider while installing your new set. This way you can mark the line to get the same exact length to match your preference of the old brake line set.

We recommend having your reserve repacked once annually. The reserve can carry moisture trapped in the deployment bag. Over time is can become compressed, and any sand, dirt, or grit can damage the fabric. The annual repack increases your chance of a fast opening time. Untangling your reserve bridle lines before shipping will reduce your cost and the amount of time we spend untangling lines. You must complete the Eagle Service Ticket Form before sending us your items to be serviced. The Eagle shop charges a $35 flat shipping fee to cover the return shipping costs on your paraglider, and a $20 flat shipping fee for reserve parachutes after any service performed. You get the same $35 flat return shipping fee if you send both your paraglider and reserve parachute for service. Be sure to add the Return Shipping option to the shopping cart if we are sending your paraglider back to you after service instead of having you pick it up at the shop. Note the flat shipping fees do not apply to residents of Hawaii and Alaska. A custom shipping quote will be sent for shipments to these states. In our professional opinion, reserves that are 10 or more years old, should be retired regardless if they have been used or not. It comes down to safety and overall fabric degradation over the years. We cannot offer repack service to reserves 10 or more years old.
The Eagle shop charges a $35 flat shipping fee to cover the return shipping costs on your paraglider, a $20 flat shipping fee for reserve parachutes, and $10 for manufactured lines after any service performed. You get the same $35 flat return shipping fee if you send both your paraglider and reserve parachute for service. Be sure to include a FedEx friendly shipping address with your Eagle Service Ticket Form.
A confidence inspiring hands-on experience over 3 and a half days
SIV stands for Simulated Incident in Flight. Then why isn’t it SIF. Well the French got a head start on us here, and the French translation is ‘Simulation d’Incident en Vol’ and roughly translated means simulating unstable situations in flight. Vol means Flight in French so we call it SIV. These clinics gives pilots a new awareness of their wing and how to handle events which are presented while flying in the wild. Participating in a SIV Clinic will increase a pilot’s confidence and open a new dimension of flying a paraglider. The SIV Clinic goes beyond theory. You get hands on experience, and develop the feel to handle situations instinctually.
No-Refund Policy *
Due to the unpredictability of weather and the limited nature of our service we are unable to offer refunds for SIV clinics.
