UP – Ascent 4

$3,900.00

The first glider in a pilot’s life might be his most important one. On the one hand it shouldn’t be absorbing too much because it should be fun to fly and on the other hand it shouldn’t be too agile to maintain security. While designing the Ascent 4, our main task was to develop a glider that combines both, security and the fun factor.

The Ascent 4 includes the latest Technologies as well as the implementation of intelligent materials. Optimized modern fabric gives the Ascent 4 a low weight, leading to less aggressive behavior during launch and extreme flight maneuvers. Flying calm morning air, or strong thermal conditions the Ascent4 inspires confidence with its calm and easy-handling flight characteristics. Additionally, the glider has good performance, turns as desired in thermals and gives the pilot easy to understand, usable feedback. High quality, tough materials will make the Ascent4 a durable, fun companion for your beginning in the sport and for many flying adventures in your future.

UP K2 3

$4,740.00

Although it has almost turned into a PG business tandem marketing platitude, this tandem really does handle like solo wing – and that from the moment you touch the risers to launch it and until you and your happy passenger are back on the ground; if it wasn’t for the clicking noise from the camera you could be excused for forgetting that the passenger is even there! Just make sure you don’t go off on long XC’s when there are paying passengers waiting…

Available in two sizes, the K2-3 can be flown at its sweet spot by almost everyone…
The 2D diagram clearly shows the all-new canopy − the elliptical predecessor was replaced by a wing design with a large sweepback angle, which makes the K2-3 a pleasure to launch. The swept-back wingtips, first introduced in our competition wings, not only reduce drag but add to the arrow−like visual effect of this glider. Nylon battens instead of mylar in the leading edge reduce the packing volume and add to the easy launching characteristics.

UP Lhotse

$4,450.00

UP Summit XC 4

$4,600.00

The Summit XC4 is a high-end EN B wing that is very easy to fly, and even more to the point, it is a wing that is very easy to fly far on. The glide at high speeds, critical for headwind performance on XC flights, has been improved compared to the Summit XC3, and with the light and efficient speed system and the very stable aerofoil there is simply no reason to hang around – just mash that bar, comfortable in the knowledge that you can control any forward pitch with the C-handles even before they turn into proper surges.
