The Woody Valley Haska 2 – The next generation of airbag harnesses: safer and more elegant design
The Woody Valley Haska 2 comes from a combination of some of Woody Valley’s most successful harnesses. The comfort and resistance of the Velvet 2, the lightweight qualities of the Peak 2, and the experience gained from years of design in the competition world allowed Woody Valley to create a reliable and highly refined harness.
This is the first harness to use the new self-inflating airbag protection system which guarantees functionally right from the first phase of take-off, in flight, and during landing. The result? Lightweight qualities and portability of a classic airbag but with the safety of always being protected.
With the Haska 2, we have taken a successful design and reinvented its potential. We listened to your advice, perfecting the Haska 2 down to the smallest details.
To do that, we made it lighter, we made it more secure and more comfortable, making it into the no-compromise harness.
The Woody Valley Passenger – the uncomplicated harness for the passenger.
The Woody Valley Velvet 2 – Perfection for the aerodynamic conscious leisure and XC pilot
A versatile harness offers tangible benefits for pilot who like cross-country flying, or who just intend to enjoy their flights to the fullest. The highest level of comfort is ensured by the aerodynamic rear, compact shape, and a comfortable seat designed with a variety of adjustment systems.
Wani is the new reversible harness with self-inflating airbag designed to pair maximum lightweight construction with top passive safety tested by us. Wani balances maneuverability and stability and has inherited the geometry of Haska belt system.
Wani has change the concept of reversibility, differentiating the backpack part from the harness. This new system considerably improves the functionality task without compromising operation or appearance.
Wani consolidates the patented self-inflated airbag developed by Woody Valley. Protection that has inherited the best features of current airbag and foam protection systems. Wani offers a user experience like no other.
The Wanì light 2 airbag has been majorly improved to provide an even higher safety level.
Thanks to the use of Nitinol (highly resistant and non-deformable metal wire) inserted in the lower edge of the airbag, we were able to obtain 60% of the protective capacity before its complete inflation which takes place in flight.
When fully inflated, it is entirely comparable to our spring airbag harnesses.
The inflation valve has also been improved to guarantee airflow in the airbag regardless of the position of the legs. The thin shape of the valve improves the aesthetics of the airbag.
We have always been attentive to the needs of our left-handed customers so you can order your harness with the rescue handle on the left side on request.
The Woody Valley X-Rated 6 – The most extreme example of Woody Valley’s many years of experience in competition harnesses
It has been designed to meet the demanding requirements of professional pilots in terms of comfort, flying performance, aerodynamics, and safety. For these reasons the harness has been painstakingly modified and optimized, right down to the last detail. Its flying performance, aerodynamic shape, and responsive handling qualities in particular, have been designed to help get the very best out of modern competition gliders.
X-rated 6 has a space under the seat to accommodate two parachutes, as required by current competition rules, and space for a third parachute in the front. Furthermore, it is equipped with an “Anti-G” drag parachute and the new “Mini T-Lock” safety system to help prevent you from forgetting to fasten the leg and chest straps.
The harness comes with Ronstan pulleys series 40 mm diameter 40RT “Orbit Block” model with break on the return to lighten the pressure of the speedbar itself.
If you have longer legs and find it difficult to reach the 1st step on a 2 step speed bar, we suggest looking at the Woody Valley 3-step Speed Bar. The 1st step on a 3 step speed bar is lower, and would be easier for someone with long legs to reach.

The new removable windshield provides better aerodynamics and protects your face from the wind making your flying experience more pleasant than ever. Attaching and removing your windshield is really easy with the three strategic buttons on the cockpit.
The windshield really increases cold flying comfort, and can be the difference between hypothermia and not. The windshield really helps. “Even with heated gloves, a down jacket, and brake toggle mitts my hands were still frozen, non-functional claws, but at least my core and face was warm because of windshield.” It’s like a motorcycle windshield (but low speed)… when it’s warm you don’t notice a windshield, except a little less wind noise, and maybe tiny bit of L/D. But when it is COLD, the air really sucks away your heat… so having the windshield direct the air up and over your face is HUGE for warmth. It’s definitely a big improvement in cold flying comfort.
*The windshield is an option sold separately
